Chinese ink wash painting is three thousand years old and has developed into an incredibly sophisticated form of fine art which has also inspired many major western artists. In 2013, Wolfgang Hartl travelled to the pulsating metropolis of Hong Kong to find this art form in galleries, on the streets and among the works of masters and to draw inspiration from it. Six months after his trip to Asia, he presented pictures and works in ink at a design evening at the Atelier.
